Westgate New York Grand Central

I recently stayed at Westgate Hotel for a week-long business trip. The room was comfortable and quiet, thanks to its location away from the main street. The internet connection was reliable, which was essential for my work. I was thrilled to find a Starbucks on-site, making it convenient to grab my morning coffee. Additionally, the hotel's location allowed me to quickly access nearby shops when I needed to replace a torn shirt before an important meeting. I was very pleased with the hotel's amenities and its convenient location.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to key attractions such as the United Nations and Grand Central station. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed that provided a good night's sleep.

Everything was well-maintained, the hotel is terrific and fairly clean with excellent services.

Marvellous and brilliant location near to Museum of Tolerance. Welcoming, courteous staff members were with the receptionist. The breakfast was satisfactory, deluxe with toast.

We had a fantastic experience staying here. Its location was perfect for us as we were attending a job-conference at the UN Building in Midtown. It was also convenient for us to get around as it was close to the subway. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs, from the bell staff to the management. The room amenities were amazing; we particularly appreciated the in-room safe and wi-fi connection. Adjoining rooms were also a plus as we could keep an eye on the kids. The bar/lounge area was great for relaxing after a long day.

We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality accommodations in a safe location.

Fairly clean boutique hotel, the location and staff were very good. The room was well cleaned everyday and available with couch. The venue was a nice place for enjoying a pretty nice area. There was Osteria Laguna Restaurant an easy walk to the hotel.

I recently had a fantastic solo trip in New York City and stayed at a hotel that exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Grand Central Station and the Empire State Building. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view from the balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including free WiFi and a helpful concierge. my experience at this hotel was outstanding and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

I did notice one small downside during my stay. The breakfast options were limited and could have been improved with more variety.

Well, Wi-Fi was slow.

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. The location was perfect for our job conference in Midtown, as it was close to the subway and just a short walk away from the underground station. The staff provided excellent service, from the room service to the bell staff and housekeeping. The room amenities were top-notch, with ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. The wi-fi in the rooms worked flawlessly, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. The hotel also had a nice dining restaurant and bar/lounge area, which added to our overall satisfaction.

Although the staff at this hotel were generally helpful, some of them seemed unwilling to provide assistance when I asked for help mailing a few postcards. However, this minor issue did not detract from our overall enjoyment of the hotel.

The hotel was small and the staff responsive, unbeatable location close to Time square. The room was bright & cozy, there was an exceptionally comfortable bed. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, an individual safe and a writing table were standard, but I loved that.

The price was amazing, especially for being so close to Grand Central. Clean room with a comfortable bed. Amazing shower.

staff was borderline unpleasant. room was very small and dark, windows overlooking a wall, air conditioning was not working, more than 25 degrees at night!

Problem for the pre-payment of the stay, we gave a credit card to pay for the room and our client had to give his card as well !!!!!!!!

During my stay at Westgate, I was actually surprised by the spacious room layout and cleanliness. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I also appreciated the convenient location, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions. The atmosphere of the hotel was inviting and the decor added a touch of elegance to my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

bedding is of very good quality and staff is at the top.

We were on the second floor seen on a wall and there was a machine noise or something the last two mornings of 7am rather unpleasant.

NO FRIDGE IN THE ROOM, CLEANLINESS CAN BE IMPROVED, CRAMPED ROOM. THE QUALITY/PRICE RATIO IS NOT GOOD.

Reception of the staff

The absence of international news channels, particularly French news channels and paid internet in the rooms.

I was five minutes away from the United Nations. The doorman gives very good advice on restaurants in the neighborhood.

The bedroom and bathroom were old-fashioned.

As a business traveler, I loved the convenient location of the hotel, close to popular attractions like Grand Central and Times Square. Getting around the city was a breeze. The staff were friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile to install a safe in my room. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with no issues regarding noise from the street or neighboring rooms. The hotel also had great amenities, including a lovely balcony where I could enjoy breakfast and feel like a true New Yorker.

No complaints, felt free to seek any assistance.

Bed not too big

The location was perfect - just a short walk to all the major attractions. We loved being able to stroll to Times Square every day, it was such a lovely walk. The staff at the hotel were amazing, they were friendlier than any other hotel we've stayed at.

Our hotel was situated in midtown east, close to all the places we wanted to visit yet not too close to be overcrowded. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing a pleasant service throughout our stay. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, making for a relaxing stay. The bathroom was clean and adequate. the hotel had great facilities and modern amenities.

The food and drink options were limited and overpriced with the breakfast costing $35 each.

The breakfast was handled with utmost class and cleanliness, and the woman running the show was courteous and professional. Our doorman was on the ball and took care of us. Although there was no mini fridge in the room, the comfy bed and clean bathroom made up for it. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
